How Our Experienced Fire Attorneys Can Help You

Representing Those Affected by the Kincade Fire

Our team of attorneys is closely connected to the needs of the Kincade fire victims. We have experienced the devastating effects of the 2019 Kincade Fire, 2018 Camp Fire, the 2017 North Bay Wildfires, and the 2007 San Diego Wildfires and are committed to sharing our extensive experience in insurance, wildfire, and disaster related litigation, to serve as your partner throughout the entire recovery process.

Legal Representation in Fire Related Claims

Our attorneys have a history of representing fire victims in litigation over utility-caused fires. Most recently, we filed the first lawsuit against PG&E in connection with the devastating 2019 Kincade Fire. CalFire has since released its public report confirming that PG&E’s equipment started the fire. Before that, we filed a lawsuit against PG&E alleging the 2017 North Bay Wildfires were ignited by sparking PG&E power lines that came into contact with nearby vegetation, and further that PG&E failed to take appropriate steps to prevent fire in considering local conditions, utilizing power lines, and maintaining surrounding trees and vegetation. We are also representing claimants against PG&E with respect to the 2018 Camp Fire.

CalFire investigators find PG&E lines responsible for Kincade Fire

In a statement released on July 16, CalFire investigators released the findings of their months-long investigation into the cause of the Kincade Fire, finding PG&E lines to be responsible for the blaze. The Kincade Fire in Sonoma County started on October 23, 2019, and burned a total of 77,758 acres, destroyed 374 structures and caused four non-life-threatening injuries.

Cal Fire’s report validates what this community knew all along and what we alleged in our complaint. PG&E has experienced persistent equipment failures, neglected their equipment and continued to threaten the community’s safety. We look forward to holding PG&E accountable for causing the Kincade Fire and achieving full and fair compensation for our clients

'I take it personally': More than 50 businesses and residents sue PG&E over Kincade fire

More than 50 businesses and individuals have filed a lawsuit against PG&E seeking compensation for damages from last year's Kincade fire, the largest wildland blaze in Sonoma County history. Mayacama Golf Club, three wineries and four hotels are among the 21 businesses seeking unspecified damages from the utility, along with 30 individuals or trusts.

I live in this community, I care about this community and I’ve seen first hand the devastation that the Kincade Fire brought,” Weaver said.
